Raul Barrera has been appointed as Vice President of Business Development at Çelebi Aviation Holding.
With 65 years of experience, serving across 3 continents, 6 countries and more than 60 stations, Çelebi Aviation announced that Raul Barrera has assumed his new role as Vice President of Business Development as of July 1, 2024. Barrera will be responsible for managing the Strategic Planning and Business Development team, overseeing business development activities and actively exploring new market opportunities.
Throughout his career, Barrera has held significant positions in international companies, including senior executive roles at global firms such as Menzies Aviation, Swissport, Panalpina, Sony, and IBM, achieving notable successes.
Most recently, serving as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Menzies Aviation, Barrera led the company’s regional expansion, extending operations into multiple countries and establishing Menzies as a major regional player with an extensive network.
In his new role at Çelebi Aviation, Barrera will oversee the company’s strategic planning and business development activities, contribute to achieving the company’s growth targets, and play a leading role in exploring new market opportunities.
