Kertajati International Airport, located nearly 100 km from Bandung, became operational in 2018. It is planned to become Indonesia's second-largest airport, with a capacity of 29 million passengers and 1.5 million tons of cargo annually. Commercial flights previously operating from BDO were transferred here.
